From the creative minds at Estoty comes I Am Monkey, a whimsical adventure platformer that immediately captures the heart with its vibrant, cartoonish art style. The visual presentation is a true standout, featuring lush, colorful jungles and playful character designs that feel ripped from an animated series. This artistic charm is perfectly complemented by a dynamic soundscape; the soundtrack swings between upbeat tribal rhythms during exploration and more tense, percussive tracks when danger lurks, while the sound effects—from the satisfying thud of collecting a banana to the playful chittering of your primate avatar—are consistently delightful and immersive.

The game's premise is simple yet engaging: you are a monkey on a grand quest to reclaim your stolen hoard of bananas from a mischievous rival tribe. This straightforward storyline provides the perfect vehicle for the game's core strength: its fluid and acrobatic movement. Swinging from vines with a satisfying sense of momentum is the heart of the experience. Mastering the timing for chaining swings together to cross wide gaps or scale tall trees is incredibly rewarding. However, the game occasionally stumbles with its camera angles in more complex, multi-layered environments, which can sometimes obscure the path forward or lead to an untimely fall.

Despite this minor flaw, I Am Monkey is a joyous romp. Estoty has crafted a world that is simply a pleasure to inhabit. The controls are tight and responsive, making the act of movement itself the primary reward. While it may not reinvent the platforming genre, it executes its core concept with polish and a great deal of character. It's a fantastic choice for players seeking a lighthearted, visually appealing adventure that prioritizes fun and fluid traversal above all else.

How to play?

🐒 Step 1: Familiarize yourself with the basic controls. Use the left stick or arrow keys to move your monkey and the 'A' button or 'X' button to jump. The 'B' or 'Circle' button is your primary action key for interacting with objects.

🌴 Step 2: Locate and approach vine clusters. When near a vine, press and hold the action button to grab on. You'll automatically start swinging.

💨 Step 3: Build momentum for swinging. As you swing back and forth, release the action button at the peak of your forward swing to launch yourself through the air towards the next platform or vine.

🍌 Step 4: Keep an eye out for collectibles, primarily bananas scattered throughout the levels. Run over them to collect; they are often placed to guide you along the correct path.

👀 Step 5: Be observant of your surroundings. Look for visual cues like sparkling objects or distinct landmarks, as they often hint at hidden areas or the main objective direction.

🔄 Step 6: Practice chaining your movements. The key to advanced play is seamlessly linking a jump from a platform into a vine swing, and then into another jump. This fluidity is essential for reaching high or distant areas.
